Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday approved constitution of three task forces. These include, Task Force on Civil Service Reforms, Task Force on Austerity and Restructuring of Government and Task Force for Identification of Impediments & Facilitation of Merger of Erstwhile FATA & PATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa(KP).
The Task Force on Civil Service Reforms comprises of the following:
1) Dr. Ishrat Hussain, Advisor to Prime Minister on Institutional Reforms and Austerity

3) Dr. Sania Nishtar,
4) Mr. Suleiman Ghani, Retired Federal Secretary

PM also chaired a briefing on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) at the PM Office. The prime minister was briefed in detail about various projects under the umbrella of CPEC in various sectors, including energy, infrastructure development, road and rail network, establishment of special economic zones and development of Gwadar.
Minister for Planning Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiyar, Secretary Planning Zafar Hasan, Secretary Power Irfan Ali, National Highway Authority Jawwad Rafique Malik and senior government officers were present during the meeting.
